Theresa Early is currently Director of Site-Based Programs for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit. Early has an extensive background in dealing with issues that educate and elevate youth and families. Before her recent position as a Site-Based Director, Early had been an Area Manager of Investments with one of the state's largest non-profits, United Way for Southeastern Michigan. She has an extensive higher education and non-private sector background, including a 9 year venture with Connecting Point in Toledo, Ohio. Early is a Leadership Oakland XVIII Graduate (Michigan), former employee of Oakland University (5 years), former Executive Board Member of the Urban League of Greater Toledo, 1986-1990 Track and Field Scholarship recipient from Kentucky State University, United Way of Greater Toledo/Mental Health Board Graduate Study Scholarship Fellow and a former adjunct instructor at Owens Community College in Ohio.
