Homecoming 2009 was great! The alumni band and my alumni K-Rette team, I love you all! We had a great time! To the current band, what can I say, you KNOW you put it down and showed everyone what time it was. Keep it up!

- I have 1 son, a senior at Univ. of Cinci - a member of Kappa Alpha Psi!! I have recently re-entered the world of work after a nice hiatus of 5 years! Wish me luck. I've only missed 2 K-State Homecomings since my graduation in 1980 - and those were only because I had to work, and because I had a baby!

- Sherrrie, I thought that was you. We obviously just missed each other. I was at Capital Plaza Saturday night. Daphne & I arrived on Friday afternoon and left Sunday morning. My mother went with us she had a great time. Mom and I got a picture with Dr. Travis; we both had her for Business Law. My mother is 72 and I am 50; I have no idea of Dr. travis' age but she still looks great. I saw Francene, Sissy & Vanita. I really had a good time. Six of the ten on my line got back this year (George Jones, Charles Morrison, Earl Young, Brian England & Jonathan Brown). Who else is in the alumni dance group and how are you staying so fit? I know. It is a compound question (LOL).

- Sherrie, Hope things are going well. Has school started for your son? Malcolm started graduate school last week. Daphne is in Nashville visiting him this weekend. I couldn't get away because of work. We are all doing well. Mom & Dad are enjoying the new set of grand kids this weekend. My sister has a 5 year old girl and a 21 month old boy. My brother has a 3 year old. We refer to them collectively as Part 2. The first three grand kids are 22, and 21(2). I am enjoying the young ones as an uncle, that is enough for me. How was the trip to Detroit?

- Sherrie, I have been meaning to contact you. Busy at work. Getting ready for a trial that starts on the 7th, so things are pretty hectic right now. Daphne says I am pretty surly when I am preparing for a trial. She is probably right. We went to Des Moines on Fathers Day. Had a great time there but we had to stop and spend the night in a motel about 50 miles from Waterloo on the way home because of tornado warnings. It made for a long Monday. Two hour trips are long when they become overnighters. Both of our sons appear to be doing well. It looks like our oldest will start graduate school in Public Health this fall at Meharry. The youngest is working and at least talking about going back to school. I am praying that he does. How is your mother doing? Tell her hello for me. Jerome

- Ariel is at home and has therapy twice a week. Her walking and speech have improved greatly. We're still working on her right arm. I don't think she'll make it back to KSU in the Fall though. We're hoping Spring semester.

Y'Londa M. said… - Greetings Soror! Yes I am active here with Omicron Eta Omega, we hosted our Central Regionals last year in St. Louis it was wonderful. We have 3 grad chapters here and 1 citywide undergrad chapter so I'm pretty sure we will make sure Boule is something to remember. I am excited. I know a lot of Sorors from out of town so I will my camera ready! Keep in touch.
