I flew all the way in from NY and wouldn't have missed this for the world. Loved seeing Kelly!!! He is sho'nuff still alive, kicking and still KELLY....the one and only. Can teach a song so fast that you are singing it and don't realize....THAT'S THE WHOLE SONG!!!LOL Love him to life for death is not in his cards!!

Had a good time at the reunion.....wish I could have seen a lot more of the ones I was in the choir with. God still came in and blessed us!!!!!! OOOOO And yes.....Kelly Daniels is still alive LOL

I tolk to Todd Oneal a Director from the 80`s. He is coming Friday and Saturday. he has to preach on Sunday. he didn`t know about it so he can`t rearrange things. We are excited!

Hey everyone! About the attire for the reunion concert: THE ATTIRE IS ALL BLACK... NO GREEN OR SILVER ACCESSORIES... ONLY BLACK TO KEEP IT ALL UNIFORM.. THANKS!

And yes we did ask Rev. Gray to come. His wedding anniversary is that same weekend, so we are unsure if he will be attending

Just a reminder, if u plan on singing on Sunday, Apirl 26, 2009, the attire is solid black tops, solid black bottoms (skirts for the ladies) and solid black dress shoes with sprite green (almost lime green) and sliver accessories (optional).

Attire Requirements:
(Ladies, skirts are to be below the knee, and ear rings can't be bigger than a dime. also, try to keep the cleveage to a minimum.

Guys, no oversized chains, belt buckles or ear studs.

Everybody, no facial jewelry. This includes eyebrow rings, nose rings, lip rings etc)

Okay... I made a mistake on the itinerary. It says that the banquet is $10.00 but it should say that its cost is $15.00. Please note that when making out our checks. Speaking on checks, all checks and money orders must be made out to:

Kentucky State University Gospel Ensemble

Also, because of some financial breaks, please ignore the deadlines with the exception of the hotel. Please make your reservations for hotel accommodations at the Capital Plaza Hotel by Friday April 17, 2009 (call (502) 227-5100 and ask for the KSU Gospel Choir Reunion special).

As far as your tickets and paraphernalia are concerned, you can pre-order or you can wait until you get here on that Friday to make your purchase. Only those people who pre-order will guarantee that they will get shirts and mugs (which by the way, we only ordered 150 shirts and mugs)
