I had a great time at Homecoming. It was good to see everyone. Some I had not seen in 30 years. Hope to see all of you next year if not b4.

Respectfully

Jackie Stringer-Sims, I played on the Women's Basketball Team for four years, and we won the NAIA Championship in Kansas City, KS during my freshman year (1980). I graduated from K-State with a Bachelors' Degree in Mathematics with a minor in Physics. I then received a Masters in Public Affairs from K-State, and another Masters' in Information Systems from George Mason University. I'm currently a Systems Engineer. It's so good to see and read how well we as athletes have done, thanks to the committment we made at K-State, as well as the commitment K-State made to us. "Enter To Learn, Go Out to Serve"

Hi to all the Athletic Thorobreds!!!....I attended KSU from 1974 - 1978 and played football in 1974, 75, 76, and 77. During my athletic career, I was the Freshman MVP, and as a sophomore, I was All-District. As a junior and senior, I achieved All-American status. Did I mention that as an athlete, I graduate in four years and with honors....smile....
After graduating from KSU, I taught high school in Middletown, Ohio for one year before going to Southern Illinois University-Carbondale to get my master's degree. After securing the MS degree, I came back to KSU in 1981 as a teacher and football coach at the tender age of 24. I left KSU in 1985 and took a coaching and teaching job at East Texas State University (now Texas A&M University-Commerce). I retired from coaching in 1998 but remained as a full-time instructor. With time on my hands since I was no longer coaching, I decided to go back to school. I was successful in that endeavor and am now the interim department head for health and human performance at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

It is no secret, that time spent at KSU and the relationships established from that union were some of the best of my life!!!
GO BREDS!!!!!!!!

I transfered to KSU in '94 . I played football from 94-96. Damn, those road trips and away games with Coach Hunt were crazy!

I ran track from 1973 to 1977. Had the best time of my life with the greatest set of athletes ever to attend KSU. I believe I still hold several records there including the 400 Meter Hurdles in 49.51 and the 4 x 400 relay in the time of 3:03.50. All the athletes in every sports during that time was like a great big family. Oh how I miss those days.
