I have to agree that with most of the top 20 things. Most of all that at Kstate had the best family feel and experience that can't be duplicated on any other campus in the country. Also that the friends you make at Kstate are your friends for life. I have never met friends that still have your back years after you leave the "Hill."

Yes, I agree with alot your comments, I'll have to add these though...

I learned what a roller wrap was.
I learned how to make tuna helper.
I learned to live on a workstudy check.
I learned that no matter where you go, you will always bump into someone from Detroit.

I learned how to hitch rides anywhere, even to Louisville. (Before I got the Caddy!)

I learned that you can live off of $600 every six months from work study.

I learned that my sorority paddle is not to be used to chase your boyfriend around Hickory Hills with. (long story, just ask and I'll let you know *smile*)

I learned that Woodside is just as bad as Hickory Hills as far as people meddling in ya business. : )

I learned that those females you thought you didn't like because of a man, are actually good people. *smile*

I learned that the Gospel Ensemble is the best gospel choir ever!!!!!

KSU was best choice I've ever made!

Girl you crazy... and I'm glad to hear you sound so happy! You know you reppin our class 98-02. GE single handedly created as many memories for me as much of k-state. We had some crazy times. One of my favorite lessons would be that if you made friends with the cafe staff you could get by without your id for a few weeks. K-state had world class students from all over so don't discount an international student. Just because their English isn't that good doesn't mean they don't know how to help you pass Accounting 101. I also learned that if you keep pressing financial aid, sometimes you could get the hook-up... I did three times. (shush, don't tell nobody).

I may be taking it back too far but.....

I learned every word to "Always and Forever" since it closed out every party in Bell Gym/Student Center Ballroom.

I learned that skipping class for spades didn't exactly help your GPA.

I learned that you can literally wake up out of a dead sleep singing the Alma Mater the moment Bullet pulled the bus up to the stoplight on the last day of the spring CC tour. (inside humor)

I learned that Richie's had the best pink lemonade in the world. (yeah, that's way back in the day)

I learned that a freshman female trying to do workstudy in Young or McCullin Halls was not wise.

I learned that having friends who worked at Subway and Lee's came in handy when you were broke.

I learned that some folks' entire dishware came from the cafe...brown cups and all

I learned that issues and beefs you thought were major when you were there, don't really mattter once you're gone.

Some stuff I learned I can't say out loud. Got to protect the guilty.

YES!! Richies does have the best pink lemonade. Oh Tea and Lemonade mix! LOL at the dinner ware from the cafe. I know I took me a few cups.

Riches had the best everything. I always said I would go back to Frankfort and start a soul food restaurant with good crunchy wings like Riches.

I learned that knowing who you are and where you come from builds your self concept and how you feel about service.

I learned that running down the 3rd floor hall of Chandler was not the business!

I learned to stop and listen to powerful information about my peoples on the way to the cafe. Can't get a full stomach without a full head of knowledge. (Thanks Wes!)

I learned to always have my card validated or it would be trouble from Mrs. Taylor ("Is your card validated!!"

I learned that if your roommate died during the semester, you could receive all A's.

I learned never take a Greyhound back from Cleveland labor day weekend your freshman year on a Sunday and get dropped off in no-man's land without a ride.

I learned nice people will stop and give a freshman struggling with bags a ride!!

I learned some people will always have a major impact on your life for now and forever, and those people are the ones I met at KSU!! I love you all!!!

Cleveland to Kentucky is a long A** ride. I only had to do it once and thank God I never had to do it again.

That ride wasn't that long when you had something worth returning home for. :-)

Ah Richies!!!! That is where I first met "Black" from Florida!!! WOW Richies has sooo many memories.

But, yeah, I definetly learned how to rollerwrap my hair at K-State.

I learned how to keep my head up even when the seemingly worst things in life happen to you (like almost getting kicked out of school the first month of school (Thanks a lot Jamie!!!) for getting caught after five min. in Young Hall and having the whole school spreading rumors about me and being number #8 on the "Freak List"!!! (Yeah, Btch's I'm takin' it back!!) .

I learned to forgive (after falling out with friends and boyfriends).

I learned that I was actually in school to graduate (after about 3 years of kickin' it).

I learned what men really like (don't let your mind go to the gutter) from the dress to the hair and all the other stuff (OK. You can go there now. LOL). Shout out to all of those who attended Thirsty Thursdays!!

I learned how much I cared for so many people at K-State after I was gone and not to take friendship for granted.

I learned that grown-ups are no different than the students (after all of those homecomings kickin' it at the hotel with the alumns).

I learned that just because someone seems like they have it all together on the outside that that isn't necessarily the case (shout out to all of those who maxed out their credit to look good at K-State or got into other activities to make the dough).

But most of all, I learned that I was the last of an era at K-State, with all the good and the bad, we who were their in the 90's were the last to really say they experienced K-State when it was truly live!

I might even still have some forks and spoons...LOL.

You can forget Riches wings and wedges...Those were the good ole days.

I learned that if your nice to the administrators during the year they help you out during registration...Lord knew I needed help!!!
